I thought this was cold damage originally, but fear it might be a fungal infection or something. Ideas?

Has it been windy recently? Might be wind damage? What's the underside of the leaves look like?

All my PV have been in a small greenhouse that was closed during the day during some cool nights (low of 48 or so for these, brought inside nights that got colder) last week.
There are two shelves and all the affected plants were on the top. A salvia was also there and went from really healthy to barely hanging on in like a day. It is worse than the PVs and smells a little like mushrooms. 8)
The effected plants are quarantined in case it's systemic instead of mechanical damage.

Don't look like cold damage to me.
Only appex are afected.
But I never saw something like this.
It's a guess...cut off dark parts...in the same way when cactus is rot.

Cooked? I'm not sure this is your issue but it looks like something that happened to me my first year having a greenhouse. I thought the plants would be ok because the gh is in a shady area so I sealed it with no ventilation. Temperatures can really soar inside a sealed gh during the day. All of my plants with tender vegetation looked like your photo.
After that episode, I put up a shade cloth and made sure there was some ventilation -- mostly open during the day unless freezing temperatures.

I would agree with plantlight on this one. Considering the timeframe in which it happened. I have fried many a plant that I placed too close to the greenhouse roof. The chances of an infection affecting two seperate species in that shot of time is very unlikely.

I would guess either heat/sun damage during the day from being closed up and too close to the GH plastic or possible cold damage at night. The fact that it was just the plants at the top suggests to me some sort of environmental damage rather than an infection.
