I have ben a gardener for most of my life, but as I got older I learned to truely enjoy it. Their is nothing else like reaping what you have sown especially with entho's
I grow alot off tree fruits apples, pear, pawpaw's, peaches and other stone fruits , I love tree fruits/nut's as their low maintenance, high reward . The same with perennial vegetables, such as Artichokes jerusalem, Sea kale, Wild yam
Im growing right now Valerian, Tobacco (a high nornicotine strain) lemmon balm, Horehound, Morning glory, San pedro, Torch, Calamus, Hops, Holly basil and what ever else in forgetting
Next year I plan on growing Passion flower, Chamomile 'bodegold', Skull cap, Henbane white, Incarvillea sinensis, Kanna, mayabe Salvia and Psychotria alba. And what ever else I can fit and have time for.
Im always up for trading/buying interesting seeds/plants. Most of the seed I have saved up is in the vedgi varity's but im slowly getting their as their is a learning curve with some things. When i get the chance I will list what I have ready or will soon be

Welcome!
Liberty minded individuals typically prefer to feed themselves and explore their consciousness while under their own 'influence'.
Its a pleasure, especially since I just realized I need more than one pawpaw.
Look forward to trading with you.

Welcome! Would you post a photo of that tobacco when you get some time?

Sorry I dont have many pictures, and the ones I do have I cant seem to post, So I made my fourm profile pick a tobacco plant (the same type I grew this year)
It's a flue curred varity thats very high in Nornicotine ,http://www.ars-grin.gov/cgi-bin/npgs/acc/display.pl?1305510
Nornicotine is a interesting compound that has much potential as a pain killing agent, many pharm corp's are studying it mixed with opiates as new varity of pain killer. Interestingly also all US tobacco must by law be very low in nornicotine (last 10 years) even know the nornicotine it's self has proven to be much less harmfull than nicotine and the rest off the junk in tobacco. Thats why many off the modern tobacco varitys have a 'LC' after the name to indicate its a low nornicotine converter strain. As nicotine is converted to nornicotine in some strains but not others
- Liberty minded folks, just want to be left the 'F' alone , I have 3 varitys of pawpaw's fruiting/flowering this year, and 2 others named varitys that have a few years to go. I know they say pawpaws need two varitys to pollinate , but I have seen single tress fruit, But you or someone must help pollination along, It's almost mandatory as flying insects mostly avoid the flowers

Welcome to the group

What are the natural pollinators for pawpaw? There's gotta be somethin'...

What are the natural pollinators for pawpaw? There's gotta be somethin'...
Crawling insects, as the flowers smell putrid, Most typical flying pollintors wont touch them
I hand pollinate with a acid brush

Welcome!
Pawpaws are the only host plant for the zebra swallowtail butterfly caterpillar. Are all your varieties A. triloba?

I honestly dont know for sure, as my grandfathor gave me the 2 that are now fruiting , He dug up seedlings from somewear in ohio ?
Likely A triloba thow, as the fruit is fair sized
Never heard of a zebra swallowtail butterfly caterpillar but intersting
They seem to be great fruit tree's as bugs dont bother them, and animals dont seem intersted in the fruit, The bark is also said to have anti-cancer uses, among other things
