Title: what do young base pups look like?

Does anyone have any pics of the first signs or stages of cacti producing base pups? I am just curious what this looks like and the signs of it, one of the lower areole's on a PC pach of mine is taking on an interesting form..

They just look like any pupping.  It starts bulging, the skin starts to stretch and get cracked, then the pup breaks through and is a light green color till it gets some sun.
