Title: Greetings to you, from a chicken silhouette in EU.

I'm glad such a wonderful site exists, it's a joy just reading about all those interesting plants and I imagine it's an even greater joy growing them.
What can I say about myself? I'm from Slovenia and have a bit of gardening experience. Carrots, tomatoes, potatoes and such things; nothing exotic, really. For as long as I know I've been interested in cultivating plants, in fact, as an anecdote, I can mention that the only thing I ever stole were 4 beans I then proceeded to plant at the age of 6. Nothing became of those beans, my consciousness wouldn't let me alone at that time. Such a crime!
I'm studying biotechnology and in some time I will, amongst other things, (hopefully) have some insight into the field of plant tissue cultures - something that might come in handy with this new activity of mine.
Currently I can't contribute much to the community for the only plants I have are two lushly verdant Zanzibar gems. However, with time... that should change.
Anyhow, to state it once again, I'm really fascinated by what you people have been doing. Keep it up. I'll follow.

Hello and welcome! I visited a bit of Slovenia on my way to Montenegro a couple of years ago. It is such a beautiful country, with its mountain landscapes, big forests and icy rivers, lucky you :D I hope you'll find what you are looking for on this wonderful forum. :)
