OK listen, I don't know anything about designs or any of that awesome stuff, but
I know most of all you guys and gals here are awesomely talented. So how about
we get a couple of designs for Share The Seeds t-shirts. So I would be able to download the
design and go down the street to staples and have them print me up a few t-shirts to wear this spring
and summer. Not only will it be cool because (I'm like a model 8)) but I love this place and maybe we can
spread the word to attract some new members.

I like this idea. Though, I think you'd have to really feel out who you're talking to, you know what I mean? To make sure they'd be a right fit for STS.
-
Hey if anyone comes here acting up we can boot the SH*T out of them. Share the Seeds gangstas baby ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
My sister is a professional graphic designer and a super awesome (hippie) person. She makes some real cool stuff. I could talk to her about it.
-
Hell Yeah Wizzy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously though I'd even rock the STS on top our homepage
I'd print a few tank tops with that!
Gotta rep our hood ;D
-
I think a STS shirt with a shipibo tapestry type design would be awesome. I've been messing around with free handing my own designs lately. I'm gonna see what I can come up with, without copying someone else's design.
-
Excellent idea.
When I was in college I made money over the summer selling white T-shirts that read "I 'heart' entheogens" at various festivals in on the east coast. Never really made a ton of money but there were many knowing glances exchanged and I mostly funded a summer of non-stop partying.
This year I plan of financing my own vegetable plant habit buy selling my extra seedlings at the farmers market, I would rock a STS shirt.
-
I'd totally rock an sts shirt! 8)

Do we have the same sister :o
Brother! :D
I thought about using this banner for the back. So people have to talk to me if they wanna know details.

What are your ideas?
-
Put a planet earth on it, half bare half green :D the landmass of course the rest stays blue and white im not talking algeae :)
... according to Bach's plan the green represents PV and the depiction displays an intermediate state of the planets transformation
-
I would not print it on the back next time :P
-
You can draw and describe what you would like to have on a shirt. We will make a printable design out of it. But there must be a good idea first ::)
-
I tried to draw my idea for the back of the shirt but it looked like a 3 grader vomited on piece of paper.
Sooooo, I'll try to describe it with words:
I was thinking a caapi vine with leaves that swirls around itself in the shape of a heart (About 12" big). Inside the heart is all sorts of plants that we focus on here: San Pedro, P. virdis leaves, poppy flower, salvia leaves, L.w. flower (not the plant itself, maybe too eye-catching?), iboga flower/leaves, ect ect. They'd all be intertwining with each other and some leaves "pop out" of the heart and go over the caapi vine.
I was thinking it would be cool if they're kind of cartoonish like the logo (see example from the nook below).
Also, Alternative Earth makes great hoodies. The one I like the most is the "Basic Eco-Jersey Zip Hoodie". It's very light hoodie that's practically like a t-shirt with sleeves. They're a bit pricey as listed on their website but I'm sure we could get a deal on em. I'll also ask around about printing. I know a local store gets their logo printed on these exact hoodies and sells em for $30.

And a variety of options for the lovely women of STS:

I like the look of this shirt. The chemical structure is not really needed although is a nice touch rather than name of species. You can just steal the images like that seller. If you could get complete front, back, sleeve printing like shirts coming form china :D

I know i'm not the greatest artist But I can try to take a crack at this :)
-
Great idea, count me in.
My sister is a professional artist, let me know if I should enslave her for the task.
Maybe something like this with Datura or Poppies? A Datura botanical print would also look nice against sky blue or similar

Stellar idea gnosis, I'm 100% down to get this going!

Yay!
@ modern, the tags for image are [.img][./img] without the "." :)
-
If this is getting off the ground, I'd totally be down to buy one. Great ideas so far! :)
-
I'll buy one! Not much of an artist though. I can offer some inspiration if I get it.
-
Count me in, chums! I have no artistic skill, but I do have cash :D
-
I feel the way to start this off is to create little Peyote buttons with an STS text centered with the flowers so we can flash em on our flannels, backpacks, or for the collection
-
Triangles and cosmic nebulaea ! I heard its the latest s***. :D
I really like Rife's idea of a poppy but idk, maybe we could come up with several designs and people choose to wear one based upon their interest or a different every day ? If not I feel like a Desmanthus a Mimosa a Peganum oooor most likely a Passiflora, reason being they are IMO some of the regular trades or freebies on here and the Passiflora is most attractive of theese.
I think we should also consider a plant that is "equal too" ethnobotanical plants or a mix of them, so the message carried is: Thats a place for ethnobotanicals.
Just whats "the ethnobotanical" ? Wheat ? Potatoe ? :D there must be something pretty and recorgnizable.
