Title: Nitrogen Fixation in Acacias
Post by: happyconcacti on November 10, 2014, 10:20:50 PM
Here' s a 2 part book on Acacias.

It covers a lot of topics, from seed starting, mycorrhizae symbiosis, and much more.

Part 2 is of particular interest as it seems Acacia phlebophylla seem to need rhizobial bacteria or mycorrhizal fungi to survive. (http://herbalistics.com.au/plantblog/acacia-phlebophylla-cultivation-from-seed/) It would be an interesting STS project to see if we could generate inoculant that help Acacias survive.
