Title: Identification
Post by: semaphore on August 18, 2014, 09:22:19 AM
Greetings,

Need a bit of help identifying these, i grew them from seed but with my own stupidity i forgot / lost the labels. I  believe they're either Peruvian torch or san pedro. Definitely one of the two.

Excuse the crappy angles.

There is this thread: http://sharetheseeds.me/forum/index.php?topic=1096.0 maybe yours would fit in there so things stay clearly.

Im really no cactii person bit to me it appears to be san pedro (as far I can tell from comparing to pictures found on the internet of both species and that size.

If a mod wants to merge it they can.

It's fine for people to make their own Identification threads.  Thanks for the reccomendation though BubbleCat.

And by the way semaphor,  all trich species look virtually identical at that age so they're almost impossible to ID untill they are around 3-5 years old. You can guess the complex they'll be in though. To me they are definitely trichs, possibly in the pachanoid/peruvianoid complex, but I can't say for sure since they are so young.
