Title: Harmine as anti-tumoral treatment
Post by: EIRN on August 01, 2014, 03:17:50 PM
Maybe it isn't new for many people, but was to me...a very good surprise:

A Natural Small Molecule Harmine Inhibits Angiogenesis and Suppresses Tumour Growth through Activation of p53 in Endothelial Cells

Harmine inhibits tumour specific neo-vessel formation by regulating VEGF, MMP, TIMP and pro-inflammatory mediators both in vivo and in vitro.
