Title: Regards
Post by: Crazy_Fingers on July 26, 2014, 11:57:21 PM
Hello all! I am an agonomist, with a passion for all things plants. My area of expertise is turfgrasses.  I joined because I believe in the importance of seed dissemination.  Micro evolution has allowed plant genetics unique capabilities to disseminate seeds in nature.  So hey why not via interwebs....yes? ;D  I also believe in responsible discussion about uses within ethnobotany/pharmacology, and it's importance as alternative medicines.  I am a registered member of a federally recognized Indian tribe, I highly value and respect nature's medicine.  The most important thing about me is that I am in recovery from years of drug and alcohol abuse. I am who I am as a result of that and my life is better for it.  Some of you may understand that.  Thanks for reading! Thanks for letting me climb aboard!

Welcome to STS Crazy_Fingers.

I completely understand what you mean by fighting addiction forming you as a person. I have experienced the same thing.  Hard experiences allow you to grow as a person. No matter how unpleasant they may be, there are always benefits.  I hope you like this forum, and I'm sure you will.  You can become a full member by contributing in some way (adding to plant/seed galleries, posting useful information, sharing your garden with a grow log)  If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Thanks for joining,
New Wisdom

Thanks NW, it's a strange thing...given the chance to look forward I would have never chosen the path/journey I am on. So far, looking back, I wouldn't have chosen any other path.  Good and bad are arbitrary notions contingent upon one's current condition, what is best is divine.><>

If either of you would like, please share information about any plant uses in your tribes in the Plant History and Culture Section. It would be a great addition to have first hand information from members like yourselves.  :)
