Title: Grateful to be here.
Post by: Smoothie on July 15, 2014, 04:00:51 AM
Plant medicine has been my healer for many years now and I am currently working on a biodynamic farm which is abundant in probably more than I realize. I also have seen Cyanescens grow wild around here. B. Caapi in a few spots. Lots of good Acacias out here especially Confusa.. I am looking forward to learning and sharing from everyone here. I currently live in a really amazing community and I can tell this one is just as awesome. One thing off the top of my head that I have been interested in starting is some Mapacho.

Welcome to STS Smoothie! It sounds like you live in a truly edenic land with many powerful medicines. I first heard about biodynamic farming at a talk by Dan Schreiber last year and it really caught my attention. It would be wonderful to hear what you have to share on the topic, especially regarding the implementation of biodynamic practices into small-scale medicine growing setups. You will certainly learn a great deal here and I'm sure you'll find that this is a wonderfully inspiring and passion-promoting place to be :D

Please don't hesitate to reach out if there's ever any way we can assist you. Much love!

Welcome to STS smoothie!

I'm sure you'll be able to find some mapacho here. There's just about every ethnobotanical floating around here except maybe chaliponga.

Anyways, to become a member you just have to contribute in some way (add to plant/seed gallery, post useful information, share your garden with a grow log.) If you have any questions please ask.

Thanks,
New Wisdom

Thanks for all the warm welcome. I was at ground zero when it comes to plant knowledge however every day I am at this farm is like a class and lesson on the local plant life and growing and gardening with biodynamics. We mostly work with fruit and bamboo although there is quite the array of entheogens out here that I can try to post pictures of.

@ isaak. I haven’t heard of Dan Schreiber. The movie we have here, and follow a lot of it too, is called “One Man, One Cow, One Planet. Peter Proctor is the guy in the movie and has a lot of great information to share.

@ New Wisdom. Ok I think I was able to upload some of the Chacruna growing around here. I can also probably get some of the wild A. Confusa when I go out hiking this weekend. Unless you already have enough. Hope this helps.

Awesome everyone! So happy to be here. Lots of love :)
