Hello to everyone!
I would like to say that I'm honoured to be a member of your community, especially because I'm just brand new in growing plants, seeds and stuff. I come from philosophy, oriental metaphysics and oriental practices, besides of several contact with healing/teaching plants. A friend of mine has suggested me to join you in this site, so I took his advice and here I am. I have some ideas in mind to start growing plants and what direction to take, but first I want to learn and read in order to put it in practice.
Well, thank you all! I send you a warm hello from here.

Welcome to the forum Nimue! There's lots to read here 8) What plants were you thinking of growing?

Hi Nimue,
Welcome to STS! This is a very special place, and I'm glad you joined. Enjoy your reading, and I look forward to sharing with you.

Nimue is a very good friend of mine, and without doubt a good addition to the community.
I'm glad you decided to follow the suggestion. Take your time to read, search and ask. This is a young community, but there's a lot of really amazing people. I'm sure it's already one of the best places to start your gardening plans. Take your time to read, ask, and trade whenever you are ready to start :)
A warm welcome to STS,
Mandrake

Thank you all! It's so nice to have this welcome!
@TBM First, I want to get familiarized with the site, read posts and information, in summary learn in a general way of speak. Then I would love to plant and grow psychotria viridis and diplopterys cabrerana (I know this is quite ambicious!). I know that maybe could be better other plants for a brand new like me in this world, but I have to say that these both are what really stimulates me for now... Well, I will tell you! ^^
GrĂ cies, Mandrake per tot! :)

Psychotria viridis is quite an interesting one to grow, I had rooted a whole lot and traded them away last year on the forum, they are really quite easy to propagate as long as you have the correct environment (either where you live or set up indoors), unfortunately all the viridis I had kept for myself died in winter :( but I already have plans made for restarting my Psychotria ;)
I haven't any experience with cabrerana, hopefully someone else here knows more :)

The chaliponga is a elusive one, but pretty sure that we'll have it here soon 8)
Welcome to the site Nimue!
See ya arround.
