I had a frustrating week. First I found out that part of my Trichocereus are PC pachanoi. :'(
After I heard that a packet with seeds and cuttings of Caapi that I uploaded was destroyed by customs. >:(
about the Trichocereus I know what to do, I'm going to wait to grow up and then I will test before giving a destiny to them.
about the Customs I don't know what to do. Simply try again?
Put everything in a cardboard box and identified what was article for crafts. Should I do differently? How?

I think we have all had a package or three taken by customs but then again thats part of life - hopfully the reciever gave you good feedback anyways i know must of us including me will give + feedback reguardless if i recieve seeds or a pink slip - i try to package my things into plane envelopes as thin as possible to look like a regular letter and to avoid curious employees boxes are usually made to resemble natural stains inks and dyes - as for your pachanoi... kill it via the blender if you wanna destroy it
Hope you hqve better luck

I agree with you, low profile is the solution..
wish you luck!

That happens irmão, but take it as learning data...

PC are still good! I don't know what for but if you have enough magic still can happen....
-
Yeah, nothing wrong with PC. I intentionally grow PC for grafting stock. And I've had customs destroy tons of stuff. Don't get discouraged, it happens. I had a box of 7 8" lophophora destroyed by them once. It was horrible.

Holy crap that totally sucks! I luckily have only had 2-3 packages over time not show up. Never knew what became of them but I'd imagine confiscation. Good thing was that they were only regular plant seeds for the most part and nothing magically special. Thank you Creator for allowing all the best stuff to slip through the cracks! I can't imagine the heart ache of losing all those lophs...damn bastards!

Don't let it get you down. Maybe next time you could try sending aya cuttings rolled up like little magical wreaths.
-
Ive sent many aya cuttings and plants inside the US(20 or so), never had a prob w customs. I just put it in a bag or box and label it "fragile:live plants". Good luck w/ the next ones!

That's because customs doesn't have anything to do with domestic shipping. Lol/

The colour literally just drained from my face - that, to me, is criminal.

It was extremely sad. There were also lots of seeds in it and they destroyed all of those. :(
