My name is Nik. I am the executive chef at a local farm to table restaurant here in town during the day, but during my off time I am an AVID gardener and I am truly fascinated by entheogens and medicinal plants. I am a staunch believer in vegan organic gardening and have both outdoor and indoor organic gardens and I'm currently experimenting with my own in/outdoor aquaponic garden.

When I saw this board, I knew immediately that I was home. I spend a lot of my time creating herbal medicines for myself and my family, as well as for other people in town who are in need of relief from a variety of symptoms. It's not always easy to find viable seeds or live plants of the herbs/plants i need to make these medicines (capsules, balms/salves, massage oil, candies, tinctures, oils), and so I must order a lot of them dry and there are no guarantees that they are organic (which i believe is one of the most important aspects of herbal medicine).

I look very forward to getting to know all of you, and showing all of you what I am about.

I've also made homemade herbal oils, salves and tinctures, I find they work better than store bought ;) I agree some of the seeds for these medicinal plants are hard to find (hopefully not for long with this site 8))

What plants are you currently gardening?
