Title: Greetings.
Post by: Kokedamasan on April 05, 2014, 05:57:50 AM
Hello all!
I'm mostly an heirloom gardener/ethnobotanical hobbyist. Just would like to introduce myself and see what this community and I might have in common. I've a few ethno seeds but not in great quantities as of yet but my friend introduced me to this forum, so I said why not. Hope to meet some cool, knowledgeable people.

A fair welcome to you lad. The people here are great and efficient with sending seeds and the site is multidisciplinary in many botanical respects. Wish you a comfortable stay at the STS. Available Phalaris seeds if interested. :)

Awesome, thanks for the warm welcome. Like I said I only have small amounts of limited varieties of ethnobotanicals, but I do have a good selection of heirloom vegetables, herbs, and medicinal seeds. I'll put the list of heirlooms later when I actually can trade, but here is a list of my limited ethno collection:

12 T.bridgesii
4 T.peruvianus
7 L.williamsii
7 A.confusa
22 P.aquatica
4 M.tenuiflora

I also have a bunch of nice 12" and 18" T.pachanoi cuttings that will probably be for trade.

Oh, wow! Those are yours? Beautiful! In fact, if you post that picture in the POTM (Picture of the Month) thread in the Group Activities forum, I'd say you may become the front runner.  :)

Ya that's a pretty awesome picture. Can't wait til I have cacti that size.

Don't worry too much about not having many ethnobotanical seeds. I'm sure there are plenty of us here who'd be happy to help you out with that :)

Those are my late grandmother-in-laws cacti I get cuttings because the tall ones need to be trimmed every year. I think they are PC pachanoi, but they are very nice. I would love to enter it in POTM, which forum is the entry thread in? Thanks all for the warm welcome! I should update my lists here in a week or so, too little extra time nowadays...

EDIT: Nevermind I found the thread and entered!
