I ordered 100 mimosa hostilis seeds from a vendor, but it appears that about 20% are something else. The mystery seeds are 2-3 times larger than the hostilis seeds and are a slightly grayer brown. The one that has germinated has a much larger trunk than the hostilis and larger, differently shaped leaves. I'm attaching some photos of the plant and seeds in hopes someone has an idea what it might be. The second photo is the mystery seeds next to the hostilis seeds to have size reference. Thanks for the help!

they look similar to ipomea purpurea seeds. or some sort of ipomea.
Not sure though

I think you're right. I googled some ipomea seed images, and they look very close. Thanks.

Cotyledons look on the dot

I agree with permie. Those sprouts look exactly like it.

Cool. The vendor sent close to 250 hostilis in the 100 seed order, so these are a nice bonus.
