Title: Ipomoea transvaalensis - does it really have orange seeds?!
Post by: RatsboggleBiological on March 24, 2021, 04:03:53 PM
What a strange morning glory. Leaves are trilobed, like Ipomoea batatas, but the flower is a purple blue, and the seeds are fuzzy and ORANGE!!

Anyone grow this one?

Oh my gosh they look exactly like little peaches! That's fantastic lol!

I would love to grow these during the summer here. What an awesome plant. :)

I only really see Ipomoea tricolor varieties, purpurea/violacea and batatas around here. Orange seeds really shake it up.
