Hello from the PNW!!
« on: January 09, 2015, 08:19:13 PM »

Hi all! I am excited to be a part of the community!

I've been a passionate hobbyist organic gardener of the "teacher" plants and vegetables for 5-6 years. I've had to start fresh a few times so I don't have a large collection right now, but seeds are on the way! My interest is in being a guardian, a propagator, and a student of these sacred plants. I'm currently growing salvia d.(blosser), melissa officinalis, nicotiana tabacum and rustica, coleus blumei, nepeta cataria, ipomoea tricolour(blue star).

Hi bohofairy,

Welcome to STS! It looks like you have a nice start going, and it's a great time to get involved and expand as the Spring is getting closer for us northern hemisphere folks.

Peace,
Frog

Welcome.  You have a lot of work to do come spring time.

I wonder if I could get Big Sage to grow here in the SE?  Probably too much water in winter and way too much heat in summer.  Such a lovely plant it reminds me of a childhood trip to Nevada.  Love the high desert environments.

Enjoy this great community.

G'day bohofairy!
Nice to see new members, and looks like you have a pretty awesome collection started there.
Enjoy your stay!

Sucks, but AU-OS trade isn't cost effective or reliable anymore. Aussie trade encouraged, especially for cactus, dragonfruit, and colour fruited columns.
