Title: Puffy Morning Glory Leaves?
Post by: Carnival on July 05, 2014, 02:31:47 AM
My Ipomea Tricolor plants all appear to have very puffy leaves, it's odd. If I pinch them between thumb and forefinger, they crunch kind of like bubble wrap.

Two of my three plants have this, and each of those plants has it on about 50% of their leaves. Any idea what's up with that?

Mine are like that too. I'm pretty sure it's stiff trichomes on the leaves causing it.

It may be a fungal infection. Can you post some pictures?

On closer inspection, I think New Wisdom had the right idea. When viewed from the side, they're not puffy, but they've got big silvery trichromes that do, in fact, crunch.

Thanks for your help though :)
