Title: Hi!
Post by: utahraptor on November 02, 2013, 05:56:16 PM
I create floral arrangements for weddings and the like and I am trying to move away from buying the majority of my supplies and start growing them myself. I am a novice gardener so I am looking for a place to browse for tips and tricks as well as any general knowledge. Hopefully as I learn I can contribute with photos and the like.

I like what you did with the moss. I tried putting moss sections in a few of my potted plants but it doesn't seem to be growing.

Awesome work! You should look into making some little cacti gardens as well. They're very popular. I actually put one together the other day, here's some pictures.

Trichocereus purpureopilosus, trichocereus thelogonus, Oreocereus trolli, Notocactus glaucinus, Myrtillocactus geometrizans, Euphorbia flanaganii and Gymnocalycium Damsii v Rotundulum.  I also recently put a small Opuntia microdaysis in there after I took this picture. Then  I put a few shiney rocks in it.
