I went out this morning and noticed these little pods hanging on the underside of my Phalaris Big Med. Are these supposed to be there?
Or are they bugs or something? Any help would be awesome. :)

That looks awesome, but no, it's not part of big medicine. I strongly suspect those are insect eggs.

Thanks I just went and sprayed it. :-[

Oh no! Those are lacewing eggs. They are predators to many pests. I hope the spray didn't kill them. :-\

We have a few predatory bot/marsh/horse flies that look like that too.
Eggs on a string is generally good guys.... :(
-
Yeah. Lacewings are great to have around the garden. Don't kill em.

Good to know! I see these eggs around my garden all the time :D

I just found one of these on some echinopsis flower buds. One of my big echinopsis is pushing 5 buds that will probably all open at once. Should be quite the spectacular.
