So last week the temperature in my greenhouse spiked over a hundred and I decided it was time to start fertilizing the cacti for the season. I noticed earlier today that the rootstock from my first successful graft is throwing off a pup. Is this something I should be concerned about, or should do something about?

Usually you have to cut off a few pups before the stock goes full on pumping it's energy into the scion.
This is a small stock so I would cut it out, but sometimes I will let it grow for a few weeks and then I root it for another small stock.
You definitely don't want to just leave it growing or it will take all of the energy and defeats the purpose of the graft.
