I've had this fella for months. It was grown from seed starting probably January. So far, it's been pretty  slow to put on mass. A few months back, it was doing fine in a zip lock bag dome in nearly direct light. I water it frequently and exchange air. I started to acclimate this plant about two months ago. I treated my alicia the same way the whole time and it's doing great. It is fully acclimated to ambient  humidy and direct light.

The appearance of the plant has developed rapidly and I'm not really sure why. The plant developed a few spots on its leaves, followed by paling amd shedding. Then i noticed the dropping and overall unhealthy appearance. I removed the acclimation baggie and  put the plant in a humidity dome. As I write this i wonder if that sudden transition may be more  harmful, as ive read they dont like sudden changes.

Is this a symptom of too little humidity, not enough root air circulation or what? Id like to save this plant, my third, and have a healthy, stable one after all of this time. The second picture is only a month old, when it was happier. Thanks.

Sadly I must tell you I had the same on one, it was severe after holydays. I upped the humidity as good as possible, following that it died. :/ Maybe the damage was too extensive already.

Try something and lets hope it makes it.

No chance of bugs, right? My caapi are under constant attack.

I could be wrong but it looks like a fungal infection on the leaves to me. I can't tell very much from the first photo but in my case with a few of my seedlings, the spots on the leaves (and on the stems) were dark and you could scrape them off a bit with your fingernail. I solved my problem by removing the spotted leaves and treating with an organic fungicide spray, everything else was kept the same though.

I don't know what is happening, but I suggest remove from humidity dome.

Looks like to much humidity. Let soil get dry before watering again.

If you lost your seedling, wait a little to Caapi seeds giveaway...will be soon.

Anyway, Caapi seedlings don't need humidity dome. Dome is good in germination, after germ is better in open air and little direct sun light.

A few of my from seed caapis died and I left the pots, few weeks later (sometimes even a month) a new plant shoots up. They looked similar to yours before biting the dust.
