1L warm H20
+ 1.5 tsp 70% neem oil
+ 0.5 tsp dish soap as an emulsifier for the neem oil

After spraying them down a couple times, I dumped the rest of the Liter of mixture through the soil to hopefully evoke the systemic properties of neem oil. I also turned their lights off so hopefully the neem oil doesn't burn them.

I did a follow up spray n' soak today. I found a few scale that I missed from the first. They seemed to be dead inside the little cocoon things.

So far, I'd say this has been a successful battle.

Thanks for sharing this and congrats.  It will help out a lot in the future if I get scale again.

One thing that really helped me with infestations was putting an osculating fan in my grow room that goes over all my plants.  I have to water a bit more, but it really helps prevent infestations from taking hold.  Not sure it would help much with scale, but flying insects like fungus gnats have a very hard time landing where they want to with the air flow and it seems to lower their reproduction rate.

I've gotta get some fans going on the indoor cacti.
