Not sure whether this has been posted before, but I came across this review of a nice 1978 documentary about Peruvian San Pedro shaman Eduardo Calderon - http://www.dissidentreality.com/reviews/eduardo-the-healer-1978/ (the site seems to be having occasional accessibility problems right now, but is worth a bookmark if you're bored).
