Title: Ediblewildfood.com
Post by: PermieGing on November 09, 2013, 08:54:43 PM
This is a great website that shows pics and gives information about many common  weeds and how they can be utilized for food.
Many of them are also very useful in a biodynamic garden.

For all your foraging needs.
Tons of information.

I stumbled on that website late last year.  I am waiting for spring to start kicking around so I can finally enjoy food from the ground.  The trails I normally hike were once part of and adjacent to a landfill.  I spoke to the head engineer in the area and requested results for groundwater and geotechnical data.  He assured me that the surface and plants should be free of contaminants but I am still wary.  Can't wait to eat my first cattail though ;D

I am excited to check this website out,  I live in central Florida and I always notice many wild berries and plants that could be edible but I would like to make sure. I have always wanted to try a cattail maybe I will give that a shot also.
