Title: Salvia not feeling so well, anyone know what to do?
Post by: The Clam on July 28, 2017, 02:17:57 AM
Well iv done two things differently lately, watering more often and made three cuts. My blade was sterilized before each and none of plants are sick so i'm wondering whats going on. On a side note, the cuts I made are very healthy and the plant has been getting a lot of severe heat. (probably 90+ degrees every other day with direct sunlight until about 12pm)

it look fine from here... they have to recover from cuttings, and growth rate is relative to plants size.

Glad to hear that, thought for a second it might be mosaic or something cx

Looks like heat stress to me. Pull it back under so it gets more shade and maybe set up a mister on a timer to mist it several times a day for a few minutes each time. Mine love it and don't get so heat stressed.

If it was mine I'd do nothing. Visually she appears to be in the acceptable range of Sally health, probably on her way to adapt to recent changes. Babying her or causing more changes might delay her full recovery.

Anyways, she looks fine enough to me, nothing to worry about. They look good now and then and so-so at other times again.
