Title: Erythroxylum cutting ?
Post by: marshmellow on September 09, 2014, 03:26:06 AM
A friend of mine has a big healthy  he said its coca and I could take a cutting or two.  I have read it can be difficult to root, so I wanted to know if anyone had any tips to get one from a cutting.  He told me it hasnt flowed yet , so no seeds.  But I realy want to add it to my collection. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a couple sources after a quick google/forum search.  Never used any of them.

When air layering do not use potting soil, peat or coco coir is best. And make sure to put air holes in the wrapping and water when needed.

I do not have any links to the way I air layer so I will write something up this week (maybe) when I have time.
