New member - who likes growing and sharing the seeds

Hi everybody!

A good friend of mine that joined here, theseed, just let me know about this place today.

I have been growing a lot of cacti from seed recently. I just sowed about 5000 trichocereus seeds: bridgesii, macrogonus, peruvianus, validus, and a mix pack. I also have some 300 or so special hybrids that a friend at Mycotopia made himself and gave to me, bridgesii x macrogonus and macrogonus x juuls giant. I already germinated them all, so I can't share the seeds, but I can share the seedlings!

I am aspiring to keep a trichocereus farm so I may spread the trichos far and wide, to anyone and everyone who wants them. I'm glad to be a part of the community here, and I hope I can contribute something useful!

Btw, I love the quote by orson scott card up top. He is my favorite author :D Enders game anyone?

Welcome to STS my friend!

I am also a cactus enthusiast.  I recently planted some T. bridgesii, werdermannius, taquimbalensis, terscheckii, peruvianus and macrogronus.  Also Ariocarpus retusus, a. trigonus, aztekium riterii, L. williamsii and l. williamsii caespitosa.    I'm glad to see another cactus enthusiast here! 

You should post some pictures in the plant or seed gallery. That will help you become a full member.

World Seed Supply has validus seeds! They may have been out of stock for a while, but they have them now. I just got them earlier this week!

Woohoo! Get em while they're hot!

It looks like I just about cut down their whole stock of validus seeds :( Sorry guys! I'll have to share them, haha.

I got a 500 seed pack I think (maybe 1000? I'm not sure, there were so many different packs I got), and now it looks like they only have 100 or 10 seed packs in stock!

I'm propagating pereskiopsis right now and I'm also waiting on a price from a bulk peres dealer right now to possibly speed things up a bit, because I'd like to graft all of my seedlings. I'm gonna need a lot of space. I think that's the biggest hole in my plan, heheh...

Same here.  I just got a ton of pereskiopsis. I've been doing loph seedling grafts lately.  I will do some trichocereus ones as well soon.
