Title: My new cactus looks pretty awful
Post by: PinkTarantula on October 05, 2017, 03:23:03 AM
Bought this little guy online this week. Desirable hybrid, desirable price, and horrible condition. I haven’t done anything at all with it yet. It’s clearly suffering from some etoliation issues among other things. It’s a semi recently rooted cutting.  I have a bit at my disposal to try to get this little dude on the right path and was looking for some pointers. I’ve yet to deal with any major cactus problems so my knowledge here is limited.

Obviously not a very good one. I literally only unpackaged the little guy about 2 hours ago. I set it out to where he’d get about 4 hours of early morning sun with sporadic shade. I may move it again before sunup though to put it in a 2-3 hour sun spot.

 Give it

 - Time,  and proper basic conditions

Then cut the thin slice out and re-root the cutting
