G'day g'day, I'm McSlurry and I've been slowley ramping up my journey for knowledge after a gift was thrown my way about a year and a half ago that blew my mind. A discovery of the Nexus and a YouTube session (cheers Mr Bock n VICE) and immediately my perception of plants, the capabilities and gifts they produce and their uses for ourselves changed.

Many more epic thoughts and fun in the garden to be shared I hope!

Welcome.  I often feel that in so many ways we live in the dark ages and I hope we can survive it without destroying most of the species here on Earth.
There is a lot of amazing new research regarding plant intelligence and communication.
What specific YouTubes are you referring to?
Have you seen the series Hamilton's Pharmacopoeia on Vice?
Also there are a couple cool podcasts from Radiolab about plant intelligence that are really interesting.

Yep a few of Hamiltons I have seen,  A doco about the interesting alkoloid containing species in the Dandenong and a touch of Rogan.

Eyes were opened to the absolute and unimaginable power that the plant kindom holds. A few years ago you couldve asked me my opinion on logging and natural habitat destruction and the answer wouldve been a 'meh'.

Now i realise if a plant can send you on a journey and heal the mind in such an incredible way like some  Acacias can as i have experienced - what can the next species that hasbt been investigated provide to us? So many cures potentially going extinct  in areas of our world...

So here I am. Ready to succle at the teet of knowledge and experience!
