seeking advice on germination of cypress/juniper berries
« on: May 21, 2019, 07:28:38 pm »

Hello, i have some yard bush/trees with berries.. maybe cypress or juniper bushes?
They lean sideways, so you can walk threw them.. like a giant bonsai forest house.

Cuttings seem to stay green fooreaveer, but never root.
i havn't tried rooting hormone yet, but maybe next time..

Anyways does anyone know how to grow these berries?
this is picture i found on google that looks very similar to berries.. i can take pictures if needed..

This doesn't answer the question on germinating from berries, but perhaps air layering might be a reliable method of propagating through cutting. I haven't done a search but perhaps a useful area of investigation.
