Hello, fellow gardeners!
« on: January 11, 2018, 03:10:55 PM »

Hey guys! I'm new to STS, but I think this is my kind of place. I'm an avid collector and grower of medicinal herbs and cacti, in addition to veggie and flower gardening. I'm in 7b here in the US. I'm hoping to do some trading, learn new stuff, and meet other people into medicinal gardening.

Welcome to Share The Seeds, you sound like you will fit right in around here.

Looking forward to seeing you around the forums and would love to see your cacti collect.  Hope you enjoy your stay around the forum.

Thanks guys. I've updated my profile. I'll try to get some pics of the kids up in the next few days.

Is the bacopa hard to grow without a pond?  I have had my eye on this one for some time as I am really interested in nootropic plants in general but I always wondered if it could stand up to the heat of the south outside of an aquarium or pond.

It's super easy and grows like crazy. Even though you can grow it in a pond or aquarium, it does fine as long as you don't let it get too dry. I keep mine in a dish with a bit of water and mist the top when I do my succulents.
