Hello!

My name’s Tom, and I am glad to have found my way here! A little about myself:

I am a full time violinist. Music is my passion and spirituality. I play everything from Mozart to Lady Gaga.

I was raised in a strict Christian religious worldview, and it has taken time to realize that there are other truths and perspectives. That’s part of the reason why I am here. I am still a man of faith.

I found and registered for STS over 2 years ago through the Nexus. I was quite active over there, gaining experience working with Mimosa hostilis and Syrian rue. However, shortly after signing up here, I decided to take an indefinite break from the Nexus, and all other ethnobotanicals, in order to just live life and integrate my experiences.

Now I have returned, ready to garden. I currently am not in possession of any teacher plants. But I have started my own collection of fun, unique houseplants (cacti, succulents, etc) which I will happily share.

In the past I have grown small amounts of medicinal fungi.

I am here because I hope to have my own garden that I may enjoy and share with my friends someday. Thanks for reading, look forward to meeting you all :)

this place is awesome, folks are so knowledgeable and giving. before you know it, im sure you will have more plants than you know what to do with!
i'd like to get back into bowed instruments, i played a bit when i was younger, but have struggled to find the time for music in recent years, and its killing me slowly inside with each passing day. dont ever stop playing!

Hello all!

XDX don’t let yourself die musically! Maybe you can combine your gardening with music... I’ve seen videos of some pretty awesome cucumber flutes, carrot flutes even. Maybe you can make a peyote rattle somehow! If you have a gallery with your garden, link it to me please?
