Psychotria leaf sprout termination?
« on: October 27, 2017, 10:02:57 PM »

On all of my psychotria leaves the sprouts terminate and rot from the top down without fail, not sure why. Anyone have any advice?

What are you using for soil? Sounds like it might be too heavy.

I'd recommend the Bach mix for psychotrias- 1:1:1 soil:vermiculite:perlite

I've sprouted them in plain old jiffy pellets before, but I will concur that I get better results with a looser mix of soil.
