L. Williamsii induced pupping

Hey,
I was just wondering if any one has induced pupping in L.Williamsii with a mix of Ga3 and lanolin. I saw one YouTube video where a gentleman applied said mixture to the L.W and triggered it to pup. Any one else have success? I have a flowering L.w that i would love to try this with I just do not want to kill it.
