Anyone here have any experience with amaranthus dubius?
« on: June 19, 2016, 03:27:58 AM »

My bosses have a huge plot of chinese spinach (I'm 99.9% sure thats what it is) growing behind their restaurant. I tried to ask them what to call it and he kinda just replied "Oh its chinese... I have tomatoes you want some?!" He seemed honestly surprised that i was interested in his weird chinese vegetables xD. But i managed to talk him into giving me a bag. So my question is; can you propagate it by cuttings? I have several pieces big enough to do so, but I'm new to this whole cloning thing. Any body else have any experience? This stuff is gorgeous and id love to grow it!

Beautiful plant. I'm not familiar with it. ???

Suggestions:
1.  Get some with roots.
2.  No roots, try propagating in water.
3.  Wait for seeds.
