Plant Preservation Mixture. Its used with plant tissue culture as anti fungal/bacterial and can be used when cleaning explant or in the agar solution.

They sell in smaller quantities as the source only sells 30mL +

PPM is fantastic, and the customer service from kitchen culture is top notch. If you request one they will send a PPM sample for free, even to international customers.

For those that may want to try micropropogation; I have PPM (25+ mL) avaliable as well as different plant hormones, agar, and MS media. PM me if your interested and we can work out a trade

when using agar-agar, make sure its unflavored...
i make agar using

10g agar agar
10g light dry malt extract
500ml h20

bring your water to an almost boil, toss in the agar agar and the malt, stir till dissolved...   

from there you can pc it in a flask and pour into petri dishes, but i will pour some into 2oz jelly mason jars, pop a tiny hole in the lid, slip in an air filter (go to the post office, get some tyvek envelopes for free (in america), and cut them into squares, will work great) between the top of the lid and the ring, then pc for 15 min...
