Experiment i want to try soon.. maybe someone else would enjoy this kind of thing..

Been playing with making pinhole camera, very easy, plan to make leaf camera  ;D

i'm still working on getting the iodine crystals. i got some pottassium iodide.. and extracting the iodine looks simple..
but the recipe i found requires hydrochloric acid, and i don't have enough cash right now to buy any from pool store.

tried an experiment.. regular vinegar instead of HCl; it is success! ;D
i dissolved potassium iodide in regular vinegar, and a dash of H2O2..

walah it turned dark yellow/brown, it stains skin, and looks like iodine.
after a couple days dark blue/black crystals precipitated to the bottom.
now i can continue the leaf project, and i will use for cuts and scrapes.
